For blind and visually impaired people, we regularly offer specially designed tours. Detailed image and room descriptions enable an impressive experience of the artworks.

3.50 euros + reduced admission, accompanying persons are free (do not pay for either the tour or admission)

An accompanying audio guide is also available for selected exhibitions. A tactile model in the entrance area helps with orientation in the museum. Assistance dogs are welcome.

Upon request, our offers are also available in Easy Language as well as in English, French or Russian.

Upon request, we will be happy to provide hearing-impaired visitors with a local sign language interpreter who will translate a tour and accompany workshops.

Every first and third Sunday of the month, Marta Herford offers an open hands-on activity for families.

Whether before, after, or during an exhibition visit: The open studio in the Marta Lobby invites children and adults to get active together and discover various artistic languages.

Guided tour

Accompanied by an art educator, you will experience the museum’s unique Gehry architecture. During the one-hour tour, you will receive information about the Marta as a building and have the opportunity to ask questions.
