Experience architectural history and the present at Marta Herford!
From the first sketch to the finished building, this tour offers exciting insights into Frank Gehry’s fascinating Marta architecture and its extraordinary formal language.
The tour takes place both outside and inside the building.

During the dialogic tour, Marta curators, together with invited experts from various fields, examine the exhibition. This interdisciplinary exchange opens up diverse and new perspectives on the exhibited works and content.

At the conclusion of each exhibition, the curators share personal perspectives on selected works and offer exciting behind-the-scenes insights. A final opportunity to discover the exhibition in a special way!

Family gatherings, birthdays, club outings: there are many occasions for a workshop in the Marta Studio.
After an inspiring guided tour through the current exhibition or the fascinating Marta architecture, your own ideas can be realized here.
Workshops on various artistic techniques can be booked, such as acrylic painting, monotype, linocut, screen printing, cyanotype, plastic design, and drawing with pens, charcoal, or ink. Experienced art educators will support you.
Prices: 1 hr for €100; 1.5 hrs for €135
When visiting the exhibition, plus exhibition admission per person; additional costs may arise for more elaborate materials.
Recommendation: max. 8 participants per group
