Marta Herford is an internationally oriented museum for contemporary art and a vibrant place of education and learning. The museum is recognised as a placement organisation for the Voluntary Service in Culture and Education, in the area of Education & Mediation, for the 2026/2027 cohort.

From September 2026, we offer the opportunity to complete a one-year Voluntary Service in Culture and Education. This is a great opportunity to contribute your own creativity, strengthen communication skills, and further develop organisational abilities. You will get to know the wide range of tasks in the field of education and mediation and, under guidance, support the planning, organisation, and delivery of various programmes. Throughout your placement, you will be accompanied and supported at all times by a contact person. You can actively contribute your own interests and talents to the Marta HOCH 2 project.
