At Marta Herford, an architectural sculpture by Frank Gehry, the project Mindset Los Angeles presents, for the first time, a comprehensive dialogue between artistic questions and Gehry’s architectural ideas. Building on the creative scene that developed in Los Angeles in the 1950s and 1960s, following generations—drawing on the artistic legacy of the so-called “Cool School”—bridge the gap to the present.
For the trailer, the exhibition’s curators, Kathleen Rahn and Ann Kristin Kreisel (Marta Herford), as well as architectural historian Maristella Casciato (Getty Research Institute, Los Angeles) and the collector couple Gaby & Wilhelm Schürmann (Herzogenrath, Berlin) were interviewed.
