The exhibition “Interior as Idea – Works from the Marta Collection” presents early acquisitions that evoke furniture and address domestic design, including, for example, “seating objects” that illustrate the fine line between art and design, form and function, experimental unique pieces, and mass-produced items. With further collection works, the perspective on furniture and furnishings unfolds as an objet trouvé or symbolic relic of everyday culture, as a conceptual spatial staging or an impressive film narrative.
