Marta Herford celebrated the opening of the new meeting place Marta HOCH 2 with a grand festival. With this third location, Marta is further opening itself up to diversity and creating a new place for people to come together. This new location on the 2nd floor is designed as an open space that promotes creative processes and community: Whether it’s exchange and encounters, workshops and art projects, or learning and having fun – Marta HOCH 2 offers a wide range of activities and uses.

What is special about the location is: Herford residents and institutions in the region are helping to shape the program and the use of space. What it looks like exactly and what happens in it is the result of close cooperation with local cooperation partners and through topics or events contributed by the population.

Marta HOCH 2 is part of the project “Third Places. Houses for Culture and Encounter in Rural Areas” and is funded by the Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
