Giora Feidman, the winner of several Classical Echo awards, uses his clarinet to communicate through music and share his message. His sound is changeable, passionate, and emotional, but also sensual and down-to-earth. The \u201cKing of Klezmer\u201d and interpreter of the Oscar-winning film music of Steven Spielberg’s \u201cSchindler’s List\u201d offers his listeners an extraordinary experience at his concerts. He was also heard in the German films \u201cBeyond Silence\u201d by Caroline Link and \u201cComedian Harmonists\u201d (1997) by Joseph Vilsmaier. <\/p>\n
Feidman has already been honored for his commitment to peace and his services to reconciliation between peoples. He received the International Bridge Prize for his contribution to international understanding in Europe and the Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany for his efforts to promote reconciliation between Jews and Germans. <\/p>\n
