\nA Poetry Slam is an event format in which poets perform self-written texts on a stage, which are then evaluated by a randomly selected audience jury. They may not use props and must adhere to a time limit of what feels like 6 minutes per performance. At the end of the evening, one of the performers emerges as the winner. There are no stylistic requirements: Whether funny or serious, whether stand-up or lyric poetry \u2013 anything can take place on a Poetry Slam stage! Moderation: Niko Sioulis. <\/p>\n
