Citizens of the city have grouped together in order to support Marta Herford with their commitment and enthusiasm both financially and with their ideas. The multifaceted character of the artistic program and the internationally renowned exhibition work make the Museum an ideal forum for encounters with art and other art lovers.
We invite you to take part in this dialog and support the Marta Members by becoming a member and/or making a donation in order to further consolidate, strengthen and expand the Collection.

The Young Friends
Discovering art – learning more about the Marta, establishing new contacts and seizing the opportunity for exchange with other art enthusiasts. We aim to keep the circle of Marta’s Freunde & Förderer alive and well in the long term and address new generations time and again. Art needs friends!
Aside from an extraordinary museum building and the Freunde & Förderer program, you can enjoy:
- - regular information on activities at the Marta
- - artist talks organized by The Young Friends
- - excursions, study trips and visits to other young Friends of associations
- - free admission to the Marta
- - invitations to exhibition openings at the Marta and free special guided tours
