The Marta Café

At the rear of the Museum, in an exposed location directly next to the river Aa, is the Marta Café. Visitors can reach it either directly through the lobby or via the access paths leading around both sides of the Gehry building.

With a ceiling height of over 14 meters and a glass front overlooking the riverbank, the restaurant offers unparalleled views of the river and surrounding green landscape. In good weather, the large terrace offers further seating. Inside, the copper-clad gallery rises up over the large, long curving bar. As well as more tables, there is a booth in the gallery. In accordance with the Museum’s focus, in terms of furniture design classics feature consistently.

Be it in the Forum, the lobby, seminar rooms or the Café, good food is the icing on the cake of any successful event. The professional Marta gastronomy team will be happy to answer any questions you, as an exclusive partner of Marta Herford, have regarding reservations of the Café or the catering of your event.
